PENN STATION - Love is in the air! Couples around Boone are racing to one-up each other’s magnificent dates, but little do they know the victors have already been crowned: today, Rachel and Ryan went splitsies at a romantic mid-afternoon getaway to Penn Station.
The “couple” aren’t quite a couple yet, according to Rachel, so she’s alright that they went someplace cheaper even though she said three times she didn’t want to go for sandwiches. Commitment scares Ryan, she said, but she’s finding it in herself to wait.
Going splitsies at Penn Station was previously thought to be impossible, but Ryan found a way to make it happen by haggling for three minutes to a guy in Rachel’s fermentation sciences lab despite her repeated assertion that she would “just be fine to pay.” What you won’t do for love!
Afterwards, Rachel drove the pair back to Ryan’s to watch a movie. When his roommates came back, he politely asked her to leave, offering Rachel a protracted flurry of kisses on the forehead and nose before sending her into the windy cold. How romantic!
