Wellness and Prevention, Campus Dining Team Up To Create Flavored Condoms

CENTRAL - Safe sex is incredibly important, especially on college campuses. With all kinds of sexually transmitted diseases floating around, ensuring access to contraceptives and educational opportunities are some of the most important public services that universities offer. App State’s own Wellness and Prevention has spearheaded efforts to raise awareness and accessibility, such as the Condom Fairy service, Sex in the Dark, and most recently, the Project Condom Fashion Show.

Following the smashing success of the Project Condom Fashion Show, Wellness and Prevention has announced a new collaboration with Central Dining Hall to promote safe sex. The vector? Flavored condoms derived from the culinary staples of Central. Here's a sample of the flavors offered:

• Apple Bacon Blue Pizza
• High Class Grit Bowl
  
• Tomato Pie
  
• Polenta
  
• Cucumber Salad with Korean Chili Flake
  
• Dessert Slop
  
• Spicy Pork Lettuce Wrap
  
• Mediterranean Meatballs and Olives
  
• Chicago Beef Sandwich
  
• Jerk Chicken Sandwich
• Italian Sausage with Peppers and Onions

A late-night line is also planned, but these condoms' flavoring will only activate after 8:30pm. Sometimes, you have to wait for a good time. Some of the flavors and fix-ins include:

• Mozzarella Sticks w/ Marinara Flavored Lube
  
• Taquitos
  
• Fried Baby Shrimp
  
• Pretzels and Beer Cheese
  

​Finally, there are two special gameday flavors, in partnership with local companies. These will be offered behind the hill on every App State home game, starting on October 18th.
